I know it has been a long time since I've shown my face around these parts, but I haven't forgotten. Let's just say life has got in the way. My best friend got married since I last wrote... but that is a post for another day.
Today, I just wanted to vent. Why can't we all speak the same language all over the world? I recently purchased the Sea View Lace Sampler from Knitpicks. The colors are everything that I am wrapped up into yarn and I couldn't resist it! I found the perfect pattern for all of this yarn. It looks similar to the Hemlock Ring Blanket that I made a few months ago. Isn't it gorgeous?
I've decided that the colors of the lace sampler combined with this jacket would be absolutely gorgeous! There is just one problem. This pattern is published in a book that is written in Danish. I don't speak or read danish. Not to mention that it would cost more than the price of the book to ship it to the United States. Sometimes, Ravelry has its cons. It is on Ravelry that I found this pattern. I fell in love immediately, but I won't be able to knit it because of the language barrier. Without Ravelry, I wouldn't know what I was missing. (Of course I wouldn't trade Ravelry for the world.)
If anyone knows of any similar patterns, PLEASE let me know!
